This article corroborates Urantia Book’s teachings about evolution. In describing various developments in the course of evolution, the word “suddenly” is used dozens of times, as in this passage, “From era to era radically new species of animal life arise. They do not evolve as the result of the gradual accumulation of small variations; they appear as full-fledged and new orders of life, and they appear suddenly.” Read Paper 58:6.3 (669.4)
Sudden developments are not isolated to biologic evolution, but extend to spiritual and mental evolution, too. Remember that the order of progressive evolution is subjected to sudden and unexpected periodical changes in both the material and the spiritual worlds.
