In fact, there were well over one-half billion human beings on earth by the time of Adam and Eve’s arrival. In essence, The Urantia Book teaches us that Adam and Eve were beings of the order of Material Sons and Daughters—divine beings who volunteer to visit inhabited planets in certain stages of evolution and to upstep the evolving races both spiritually and physically. It was to have been the offspring of Adam and Eve who were to bestow this gift—not Adam and Eve personally. Adam and Eve’s task was to produce enough of their own children, who then were to intermarry—mate—with the inhabitants of earth in order to introduce this improved life plasm into the human strains.
In this narration of the story of Adam and Eve, we learn that they are superhuman beings, capable of producing many children with a minimum of trouble; in fact, the rate of their reproduction is very impressive. By the time of the default, Eve had borne 63 children. Following default, she produced 42 more children. These children were to mate, and produce about one million second-, third-, and fourth generation beings before attempting the improvements that I mentioned above—the spiritual and physical upstepping of the evolving races. However, your assumption that they do this BEFORE receiving their planetary bodies is in error:

A: by the time Adam and Eve arrived, human evolution had been proceeding on Urantia for nearly one million years, and so, there were many, many human beings already living on Urantia when Adam and Eve arrived. It was these people—our distant ancestors—who were to be the recipients of the bestowal of the Violet life plasm that was the gift of this divine pair.
