Peace is not a natural human condition, but war is. The vast majority of the peoples of the Earth can yearn for world peace, rally around peace, picket for peace, petition governments for peace, go on hunger stikes for peace but, despite such good intentions, peace will not prevail until global prerequisites are met.

One of the great moves of the ages toward peace has been the separation of church and state. Many countries today are still wrapped in state religions. That these dissipate is prerequisite before wars end and world peace is attained.
