I Would sincerely like to hear your thoughts/insights about a discussion of architectural spheres.

Thank you

The Constellations

43:0.1 (485.1) URANTIA is commonly referred to as 606 of Satania in Norlatiadek of Nebadon, meaning the six hundred sixth inhabited world in the local system of Satania, situated in the constellation of Norlatiadek, one of the one hundred constellations of the local universe of Nebadon. Constellations being the primary divisions of a local universe, their rulers link the local systems of inhabited worlds to the central administration of the local universe on Salvington and by reflectivity to the superadministration of the Ancients of Days on Uversa.

43:0.2 (485.2) The government of your constellation is situated in a cluster of 771 architectural spheres, the centermost and largest of which is Edentia, the seat of the administration of the Constellation Fathers, the Most Highs of Norlatiadek. Edentia itself is approximately one hundred times as large as your world. The seventy major spheres surrounding Edentia are about ten times the size of Urantia, while the ten satellites which revolve around each of these seventy worlds are about the size of Urantia. These 771 architectural spheres are quite comparable in size to those of other constellations.

43:0.3 (485.3) Edentia time reckoning and distance measurement are those of Salvington, and like the spheres of the universe capital, the constellation headquarters worlds are fully supplied with all orders of celestial intelligences. In general, these personalities are not very different from those described in connection with the universe administration.

43:0.4 (485.4) The supervisor seraphim, the third order of local universe angels, are assigned to the service of the constellations. They make their headquarters on the capital spheres and minister extensively to the encircling morontia-training worlds. In Norlatiadek the seventy major spheres, together with the seven hundred minor satellites, are inhabited by the univitatia, the permanent citizens of the constellation. All these architectural worlds are fully administered by the various groups of native life, for the greater part unrevealed but including the efficient spironga and the beautiful spornagia. Being the mid-point in the morontia-training regime, as you might suspect, the morontia life of the constellations is both typical and ideal.

Greetings coop,

I think it would be helpful if you were more specific. It's as though you've asked us to comment on furniture. What is it about architectural spheres that has piqued your interest?

Personally, I haven't studied architectural spheres. My understanding is that they are not evolved structures, like the worlds of space on which we creatures live. I think they are made-to-order, thus geologically stable and ideal for establishing a command center or headquarters.

Thanks for the topic coop!!

Until such time a more specific issue within the broader topic arises, let me say I've always found the descriptions given of the architectural spheres thrilling and inspiring. While they are significantly different than the suns and planets of the evolutionary and material spheres, the architectural spheres are in many ways evolutionary too. These morontia spheres are like continuous sculptures, being enhanced and modified by artisans to express their love and service to all who reside upon and visit them.

A reading of Paper 44 is a thrilling description of how ascending mortals also contribute to this artistic sculpting as our own expressions of joy and grandeur. Each sphere is a paradise and an expression of truth, beauty, and goodness and selfless service to one another in cooperation with multitudes of beings in such teamwork efforts to create and celebrate our family and our destiny.

44:8.6 (508.4) And this is the story of the celestial artisans, that cosmopolitan body of exquisite workers who do so much to glorify the architectural spheres with the artistic portrayals of the divine beauty of the Paradise Creators.

Me here: We should try and enjoy life on a material world as so much will be left behind during our morontia ascension from architectural sphere to sphere where there is no surf or wind or rain or storm or sea or snow capped mountain or grand canyons.

46:2.5 (521.2) Jerusem and its associated worlds are endowed with the ten standard divisions of physical life characteristic of the architectural spheres of Nebadon. And since there is no organic evolution on Jerusem, there are no conflicting forms of life, no struggle for existence, no survival of the fittest. Rather is there a creative adaptation which foreshadows the beauty, the harmony, and the perfection of the eternal worlds of the central and divine universe. And in all this creative perfection there is the most amazing intermingling of physical and of morontia life, artistically contrasted by the celestial artisans and their fellows.

46:2.6 (521.3) Jerusem is indeed a foretaste of paradisiacal glory and grandeur. But you can never hope to gain an adequate idea of these glorious architectural worlds by any attempted description. There is so little that can be compared with aught on your world, and even then the things of Jerusem so transcend the things of Urantia that the comparison is almost grotesque. Until you actually arrive on Jerusem, you can hardly entertain anything like a true concept of the heavenly worlds, but that is not so long a time in the future when your coming experience on the system capital is compared with your sometime arrival on the more remote training spheres of the universe, the superuniverse, and Havona.

Me here: A reading of Paper 15, section 7 & 8 is recommended for details.

15:7.3 (174.3) The headquarters worlds of the seven superuniverses partake of the nature and grandeur of Paradise, their central pattern of perfection. In reality, all headquarters worlds are paradisiacal. They are indeed heavenly abodes, and they increase in material size, morontia beauty, and spirit glory from Jerusem to the central Isle. And all the satellites of these headquarters worlds are also architectural spheres.

15:7.4 (174.4) The various headquarters worlds are provided with every phase of material and spiritual creation. All kinds of material, morontial, and spiritual beings are at home on these rendezvous worlds of the universes. As mortal creatures ascend the universe, passing from the material to the spiritual realms, they never lose their appreciation for, and enjoyment of, their former levels of existence.

Me here: One thing I look forward to is flying the fandors!! YippeeYiOhTiAAAAAAA......I knew there were cowboys (and girls) in heaven!! 8)

46:2.4 (521.1) The transportation system is allied with the circulatory streams of energy movement, these main energy currents being located at ten-mile intervals. By adjustment of physical mechanisms the material beings of the planet can proceed at a pace varying from two to five hundred miles per hour. The transport birds fly at about one hundred miles an hour. The air mechanisms of the Material Sons travel around five hundred miles per hour. Material and early morontia beings must utilize these mechanical means of transport, but spirit personalities proceed by liaison with the superior forces and spirit sources of energy.

 8)

I am going out on a limb here, but I think that a contracting Universe, as will occur in half a billion years or so, cannot foster evolutionary life. Energies will be flowing to regenerate the universe. This would be like a cosmic night and the Architectural spheres are there for that reason as well. All life will be sustained there for a billion years till another expansion cycle of the Universe. Then the evolutionary spheres will start their implantations of life as per the Life Carriers on those spheres fertile for the planting. Please note that life began on our planet about the time of this current expansion cycle. We have a billion years to evolve human life and attain light and life status. If we don't make it, it is back to a new life plasm to experiment with in the next cycle.

I have nothing to substantiate this hunch in the text. I just wonder if anyone else thinks this as well.

Michael made bestowal missions a billion years ago during a space contraction phase to planets with life that weren't architectural spheres....

Interesting speculation/hunch Manny....but I've read nothing to derive such a notion. Respiration is a 2 billion year event - is that half a cycle (4 billion year total cycle) or is half a cycle 1 billion years?

Nebadon was declared inhabited or inhabitable by mortal ascenders 200 billion years ago and it took a billion years to build Salvington long, long before that time, and all the architectural spheres were formed soon afterward.

Michael's first bestowal (1 billion years ago) was on the Melchizedeks headquarters but 850 million years ago, his second bestowal was to a System Sovereign's world in rebellion with lots of inhabited worlds.

I seriously doubt that respiration changes the function and equilibrium of time/space energy forces sufficiently to interrupt or disrupt the long evolutionary process in 7 super and 70,000 local universes. There is no hibernation or suspension of creation/evolution IMO.

The first papers in Sections II and III speak of these time frames. The last paper in Section III presents the bestowals of Michael in Nebadon.

Greetings,

As I understand it, there's no time limit for our planet, or any other planet, to arrive at light and life. In fact, the Papers categorically state that once human life emerges, it must evolve all the way to light and life without stopping. There is no going back to "new life plasm" as Manny suggests. We are guaranteed to make it all the way to light and life either on Earth or on some other planet if something apocalyptic happens. But I don't give any credence to apocalyptic thinking on any level. I think end-of-the-world fantasies are total nonsense. Nothing apocalyptic is going to happen to Michael's bestowal world and the Nebadon home of the archangel circuit; you can be sure of that.

While there is this dematerializing technique for preparing the Adams for transit from Jerusem to the evolutionary worlds, there is no equivalent method for taking them away from such worlds unless the entire planet is to be emptied, in which event emergency installation of the dematerialization technique is made for the entire salvable population. If some physical catastrophe should doom the planetary residence of an evolving race, the Melchizedeks and the Life Carriers would install the technique of dematerialization for all survivors, and by seraphic transport these beings would be carried away to the new world prepared for their continuing existence. The evolution of a human race, once initiated on a world of space, must proceed quite independently of the physical survival of that planet, but during the evolutionary ages it is not otherwise intended that a Planetary Adam or Eve shall leave their chosen world. 51:2:3

So, it would appear that all the architectural spheres in a local universe are the first creations for habitation and that there are younger and far older local universes as reckoned by time - the evolution of time and space is hundreds of billions of years old so far (at least) and there are still worlds for mortal habitation still quite young in their formative process - we are told primarily our local story and time line only - but even locally, there have been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of respiration cycles completed already:

32:2.3 (358.5) The first completed act of physical creation in Nebadon consisted in the organization of the headquarters world, the architectural sphere of Salvington, with its satellites. From the time of the initial moves of the power centers and physical controllers to the arrival of the living staff on the completed spheres of Salvington, there intervened a little over one billion years of your present planetary time. The construction of Salvington was immediately followed by the creation of the one hundred headquarters worlds of the projected constellations and the ten thousand headquarters spheres of the projected local systems of planetary control and administration, together with their architectural satellites. Such architectural worlds are designed to accommodate both physical and spiritual personalities as well as the intervening morontia or transition stages of being.

32:2.6 (359.3) Presently, the physical plan of a universe is completed, and the Creator Son, in association with the Creative Spirit, projects his plan of life creation; whereupon does this representation of the Infinite Spirit begin her universe function as a distinct creative personality. When this first creative act is formulated and executed, there springs into being the Bright and Morning Star, the personification of this initial creative concept of identity and ideal of divinity. This is the chief executive of the universe, the personal associate of the Creator Son, one like him in all aspects of character, though markedly limited in the attributes of divinity.

32:2.7 (359.4) And now that the right-hand helper and chief executive of the Creator Son has been provided, there ensues the bringing into existence of a vast and wonderful array of diverse creatures. The sons and daughters of the local universe are forthcoming, and soon thereafter the government of such a creation is provided, extending from the supreme councils of the universe to the fathers of the constellations and the sovereigns of the local systems — the aggregations of those worlds which are designed subsequently to become the homes of the varied mortal races of will creatures; and each of these worlds will be presided over by a Planetary Prince.

32:2.8 (359.5) And then, when such a universe has been so completely organized and so repletely manned, does the Creator Son enter into the Father’s proposal to create mortal man in their divine image.

My count of architectural worlds in our super-universe is somewhere over 57 billion such spheres (see Paper 15 - the 57 billion is just the Systems) (and 759 million+ above the System level) and in Nebadon alone, over 500,000 (1/100,000th of the super-universe)...I look forward to corrections to my math and a more precise number. The 500,000+ ASpheres in Nebadon supports 10,000,000 material planets or approximately one ASphere for each 20 inhabited material planets (when fully created and inhabited).

It is also stated that each such central abode and its satellites gets bigger and bigger from the system to the local to the super levels and each level brings more grandeur and glory of Paradise to bear. The further in we travel, the more ascenders and those who minister to them and the local universes reside/visit these spheres.

Fascinating to consider.

 8)

If my hunch is correct, we have about 500 million years to achieve light and life. Human life has been around for about a million years. Is 500 million years enough time? Do we actually have an unlimited time period to achieve this status?

Respiration are 1 billion years of expansion and 1 billion years of contraction.

Actually, it seems that the first 6 bestowals of Michael were on Architectural spheres.

Well ... Anything and everything i guess , and i thank you all for the insights ,
thoughts , opinions , comments an wise words of wisdom ,
thats what piques my interest.

And for that im sincerly thankful , to you all for sharing .

You all have already helpd me learn n re think a lot,

I Do have a question though , Can or could now or in the future a architectural sphere will or would
Be seen , located or detected by our present or future telescopes like hubble or other advanced ones?

Is it possible , or Are architectural spheres unable to be seen for various reasons ,
because of stuff Like dark matter , black holes , cosmic debris etc ,
are they hidden and unobservable ?

Thanks for any an all thoughts ,

Greetings,

I've always understood that Michael's 3rd, 4th and 7th bestowals were on evolutionary worlds. The third bestowal was on planet 217 in system 87 in constellation 61. The 4th bestowal was on world 462 in system 84 of constellation 3. And the seventh bestowal was on world 606 in the Satania system of the constellation Norlatiadek. His first bestowal was one billion years ago and his fifth bestowal was 300 million years ago. During those 700 million years, he was on evolutionary planets twice. At least that's the way I read it.

ok i remembered incorrectly...but the entry on the second bestowal to a system HQ about a billion years ago does mention that it's a system of inhabited worlds. I also never got the feeling that there was any doubt as to this planet achieving light and life eventually and find the notion contrary to the nature of the master plan.
