OK some quick background: I'm not affiliated with any group. I just purchased a paperback copy of the book on Amazon.

I have a number of questions regarding attending UB conventions/conferences. I'm interested in meeting people who share my enthusiasm for the book.

In order to attend any event, do you need to be a member of a reading group? I suppose joining a reading group means you attend several smaller events so I guess question partially answered... (any reading groups in Indonesia?)?

Can you attend events abroad or just in your country of residence? Do you need to hold specific beliefs regarding the UB in order to attend (other than appreciating reading the book of course)?

Finally, do you need to have read the book in full in order to attend?

Anyone may attend, overseas or at home, and regardless of UB experience or reading group participation. Specific beliefs are not required. Nothing has to be accomplished beforehand except registration. Conferences cement online friendships and deepen relations with fellow readers. I've never left a conference without new friends, new inspiration and a greater sense of being a part of a growing and vibrant community of God lovers. I've been to about 20, none has been a dud.

William - The international study group directory lists study groups in Jakarta and Bandung. There are also real time zoom on-line study groups with global members by language. Australia and New Zealand have very experienced readers and wonderful conferences every year.

Many thanks. I'm spoiled for choice!

Now I just need to figure out what fits my schedule and budget.
