Quote Tigran

1. The book of Jeremiah, the book of Revelation of John and the First Book of Enoch.

2. The Urantia Papers #143 and #112. But better to read all Urantia papers several times to understand my point --- or, better even, read thousands of books on all relevant subjects (which I've read) to get a better overall picture --- I know it sounds silly, but you are effectively asking me "how do I become a prophet by reading books?" and the answer is "drink up the sea!", i.e. one cannot become a prophet through reading (or quoting) books but through sincere love and dedication to unselfish service to mankind. As a prophet, it is my duty to warn all people of the coming disaster and call them, like my fearless brother Jeremiah did in the past, to amend their ways and forsake their wickedness, be wise to do good and forsake doing evil.

If we we are quivering on the brink, than I assume this "world crisis" is not near then. I alway's wondered what this "world crisis" jesus spoke about could be. I imagine it is some physiological event. Maybe its when we have 1st contact with the non-breathers hahah, I can't picture that as "world crisis" though.

Enlightenment can also come through crisis. In fact, even enlightenment itself might be a crisis. Let's say that we humans realize that continuous economical growth is not what gives happiness to us. That would mean a big shift in how we think and work, and I would call it a crisis. Yet, an improved state would wait for us after that, so the crisis would be for good.

Apparently we are close to something really good, or else the author's would not have said this.

Exactly! Only not "are", but "were". You are _very close_ to a great secret hidden from all the blind people of this world (i.e. from 99.9999% of the living). Now, only remind yourself _when_ the above lines were written (the approximate year will do) and you will get the answer, assuming you know history, at least within school's curriculum :)

Only please don't say what you found on a public forum (or even aloud in the privacy of your house) or you may get into very big trouble...

IMO I don't think the world is blind, most people just have not been given the opportunity yet to act on their religous impulse's because they do not have a revelation to work with. The bible is really just the 3rd revelation, the Urantia book includes the 4th and 5th. The 4th being the life and teaching's of Jesus.

Yes I know that was written in the 1920's so this is a period of change.

If the writings of 1920 are what will change?
