57:8.12 Nowhere on the surface of the world will there be found more of the modified remnants of these ancient preocean rocks than in northeastern Canada around Hudson Bay.

Scientists at the Carnegie Institution of Washington and McGill University in Montreal used geochemical methods to obtain an age of 4.28 billion years for samples of the rock discovered along the northeast coast of Hudson Bay, Canada, making it 250 million years more ancient than any previously discovered rocks.

The Urantia Book dates these rocks at approximately 900,000,000 years of age. The Urantia Book Timeline refers to these rocks and has a logical explanation for the date discrepancy between geological dating and the dates given in the book. The Timeline is at http://www.truthbook.com/index.cfm?linkID=2314

Nice find! That area is one of the best places in the world for tourists who want to see polar bears and Narwhales haha I know a man who takes tourists out in that area. Of coarse polar bears are imo the most dangerous animal in the world.

The Hudson Bay is probably the most south area you will find Eskimo's (Inuit) to, its wierd to this day they still prefer to live in the frigid arctic. You would think that in a country as big as Canada that they would move to the southern area's where there are jobs and warmer climates, my friend worked on a Inuit reserve once doing housework and told me about how the Inuit loved the winter even in the arctic!. It just shows how right the u.b is about these people. They also appear to have an insane tolerance for the cold, I have heard story's of them wearing t-shirts in -10 degree weather.

And the sole survivors of these Urantia aborigines, the Eskimos, even now prefer to dwell in frigid northern climes.

According to The Urantia Book, the true age of the surface of the Earth is about one billion years (57:7.3), whereas the true age of the Earth’s core (and our solar system) is approximately 4.5 billion years. It follows that that all isotopical/radiometric dating methods of material samples older than one billion years overestimate their true age by a factor ~4. (see e.g. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3960&start=120, also see viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3960&start=120)

So, a radiometric age of 4.28 billion years corresponds to a true age of ~1.1 billion years. And if it would be possible to obtain a sample of the core of the Earth (with a true age of 4.5 billion years) it’s radiometric age would be more than 20 billion years!

Actually, modern science suggests that the Earth is only 4.5 billion years old and that rocks which formed when the planet was only about 700 million years old can still be found intact on its surface. To me this sounds totally absurd. And TUB indicates that no material dating from such early formation of the Earth can be found on its surface today:
Quote:
57:7.3 Definite volcanic action dates from these times. The internal heat of the earth continued to be augmented by the deeper and deeper burial of the radioactive or heavier elements brought in from space by the meteors. The study of these radioactive elements will reveal that Urantia is more than one billion years old on its surface. The radium clock is your most reliable timepiece for making scientific estimates of the age of the planet, but all such estimates are too short because the radioactive materials open to your scrutiny are all derived from the earth’s surface and hence represent Urantia’s comparatively recent acquirements of these elements.
Note that the revelators also state here: "The radium clock is your most reliable timepiece for making scientific estimates of the age of the planet", and: "Urantia is more than one billion years old on its surface." So, the fact that the radiometric age of the surface of the planet is more than 4 billion years, obviously indicates that in order to be a reliable clock and to be consistent with the overall 'Urantia Book Timeline', radiometric age estimates (over one billion years), must be corrected by a factor 4 to yield the approximate true age of matter. Thus, the true age of the latest find becomes 4.28 / 4 = 1.07 billion years..
