To Admim and technomaster Bro Gremlim 8)
Question;
Uh , yeah , Bros , Whats the deal with the NEW LOOK
with the Forum skin ?

my opinion about the new look .
Change isnt allways better , IMHO I dont care for the new look.
I hope its only a temp finite transition .

This new look , IMHO Is harder to read and to navigate etc
than the old one .

Mayhaps im just jumpin the gun on this and its a temp tecno error .
OR do i just need suma mora Koffee or green tea .

Dear Members , whatcha think ?

Hi Coop --
Change isn't always good... true, but with technology we're sometimes forced to change just to stay on board -- like, does anyone have a cell phone that's more than 5 years old? This discussion board was several years behind the curve in advancements made to PhP driven discussion boards and we'd had a request in for a good many months for an upgrade to make us current. For one thing, this change should make it easier for us to control spam and to administrate users and topics. Our discussion board is hosted by a service provider who specializes in discussion boards, ours being but one of them, so it will be easier for him to maintain this one too now that the code for the board is current.

We'll just have to start learning new tricks -- which will of course keep us perpetually young.

Larry

It was like waking up in the morning and discovering somebody had rearranged the furniture while I was sleeping. The essentials were still in place: I knew where the bathroom was, and the kitchen. But it looked quite different and it took me a few minutes to get oriented. Once I found Abner's Corner where it was supposed to be, I felt right at home and went back to being a happy camper. Even happier, actually, because of all the colors to choose from.

Hi y'all... i like the new board layout, it's just the type that bothers me... too condensed, it's giving me eye ache... oh and that.. .... can't make out if it's a dancing mustache or a laugh.... :D

Much love

Sarah

I agree...I first said woa...what this all about but after a few times it's getting better...the hook? Yea, I'll play with the colors.

Oh...what's the black dot on the topic?

I can't get the color to stick... :|

Oh I C...you have to highlight and then select color...

It looks clean and crisp...that's the first thing I noticed (after I realized that I actually was on Truthbook).
There is one tiny thing that is a little irritating though...it doesn't remember our password. :-s

But...that isn't enough to keep me from coming back regularly. Just need to play w/it a some more.

Yeah, Coop....gotta break in those new slippers sooner or later after the old pair has been thrown in the garbage.

Peace
Jo

Is there any way to enlarge some of the print

It is a little difficult to work the pages every thing is small. Im old need big print...lol

And what happened to the option to find you old and last posts on the main page?

maybe it is an issue of not being familiar with it yet, but it seem like some of my easy to use navigation's are gone?

I like the "new look" because it remembers my password. Ever since that major crash last year, or whenever it was, I've had to reenter my password every time I visit the forum. Now it suddenly seems to be working again. Neato!

And no more than 60,000 characters per post! How exciting. I wonder what happens when you go over.
