True Religion

True religion is not a doctrine or system of beliefs based on a book. True religion does not concern itself with the origins of our physical world because it is wholly concerned with the next life; the spiritual. The Spirit has an uncanny ability to recognize truth, but when once man sees truth in one religion it is his habit to take all of what that religion says and claim it is all true. True religion is based on experience. The views of 40 God-knowing men of past ages should not necessarily be the views of all men of the present days. True religion is not based on facts, but on truth. The mind discerns facts but the Spirit knows truth. God in his wrath is not a truth as the Spirit may reveal it. The truths spoken by Jesus remain true for all men of the past, and present and future ages, for they were truths, not facts. And the Spirit of God within our mind tells us this. Religion should not be institutionalized, but free and liberated by truth. Truth can only be recognized by experience. Knowledge of an event does not save. Only feeling the recognition of truth within us, and the desire to find truth will save us. It is what continues to make the soul evolve, and when one book or religion claims that it is the final truth the soul stops evolving; we become stuck in a rut. If you were to fill a book with the final truth there would not be enough pages. The psalmist spoke wisely when he said that “not even if all the oceans were the ink and the sky the parchment.” Jesus said that those who hear truth hear his voice, and this is the mission of the Spirit of Truth. Therefore let your religion be your own, but let your faith be shared with all your brothers and sisters.

CHRISS ~ Keep spreading the GOOD NEWS Brother .

How did Jesus live?

He lived the truth, even as he taught it. He was the truth. He was constrained to proclaim saving truth to his generation, even though such sincerity sometimes caused pain. He was unquestioningly loyal to all truth.

The Urantia Book,
Page 1101 (100:7.2)

The keys of the kingdom of heaven are: sincerity, more sincerity, and more sincerity. All men have these keys. Men use them--advance in spirit status--by decisions, by more decisions, and by more decisions. The highest moral choice is the choice of the highest possible value, and always--in any sphere, in all of them--this is to choose to do the will of God.
The Urantia Book, P.435 - §7 (39:4.14)

Chriss ~ Lookin forward to hearing more from yah !
