This has caused me anxiety about the validity of the revelation: " the Infinite Upholder, and to the east, the Divine Controller." How can there be an "east" in a constellation as we are told there are many spheres in the universe? East makes sense ON a sphere, but in open space there is not a compass bound direction.

the stationary and ellipsoid Isle of Paradise is the reference point for compass directions in the master universe...with north/south along the longer axis of the ellipse...like so:

hope that helps clarify what you had in mind

This might be helpful too.

(11:2.2) In form Paradise differs from the inhabited space bodies: it is not spherical. It is definitely ellipsoid, being one-sixth longer in the north-south diameter than in the east-west diameter. The central Isle is essentially flat, and the distance from the upper surface to the nether surface is one tenth that of the east-west diameter.

Direction in the universes is relative to Paradise I believe.
