So true.

Jesus said his "gospel will rule this very world" obviously the urantia books words are going to be adopted by the world no matter what we say or do. "The most highs rule in the kingdom of men" they will make sure the u.b is spread at the right time. Hi, this jumped out at me, a...

I read this some years ago. A lot of it is her paraphrasing and explaining the Urantia Book. I personally didn't find this very appealing, because I figured I could just read the Urantia Book. But there were some bits on her own personal journey that I found good.

Hi, does anyone know of a good link for analysis of Gandhi as a Urantia Book source? “Seven social sins: politics without principles, wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character, commerce without morality, science without humanity, and worship without sacrifice.&quo...

This is a very relevant issue to many I know and therefore to me. I am so grateful that the Urantia Book gives lots of detail on it. One concept that I'm particularly interested in is the idea of potential somehow contained in the very first life cells that the Life Carriers planted. I think this co...

Thank you for your response Rajan. It's encouraging to come across people like you (and I'm sure many others here on the forum) who are on their own with the Urantia Book where they live but don't let that deter them. Maybe it's a good thing actually, that we have an opportunity to strengthen intern...

Wondering what TUB has about the spiritual fate of Atheist, unbelievers and haters of religion and God, any body pls? TUB says that sin needs to be redefined as deliberate rebellion against God. I tend to think that atheism, unbelief, hate of God or religion etc. aren't really rebellion against God...

This could be a bit off-topic for the thread now, but for me, a big part of spiritual pride (associated with knowledge of TUB) is not wanting to be associated with Christianity. I would rather distance myself from it and say that I'm a non-Christian. But then I recently read in the Urantia Book the ...

Hi all, Wondering how many people here have actual real life contact, regularly, with other readers. Having a forum like this is fantastic, but it's quite different discussing the book in person with someone, or with a group of people, based on personal relationship built over time, and in the conte...

Hi kahanyah, Do you have a link showing how singular "seraphim" is the Anglicized form? I thought the Anglicization in this case was changing the plural seraphim to seraphs, and not to do with the singular at all. I just noticed this too - a use of singular "seraph" in the Uranti...

Hi Anvil,

I feel the same way. If I go to a Urantia Book site and see a corny picture of Jesus it puts me right off. Having an image like that is inconsistent with book itself, as you say.

Hi Truthunter, Yes, at first this does seem quite dramatic - the idea that we can "control" energy. But it's nothing magical, supernatural or paranormal. It's just that through science we can understand the laws of nature and use them to our advantage. And I personally don't think this is ...

Hi all, Probably a dumb thing to raise, but it has always bugged me that the phrase "a seraphim" appears in the Urantia Book. Quite a few times too. I thought "seraphim" was a plural word and the singular is "seraph". Is this a grammatical mistake? Or does it have somet...

Hi all, Unfortunately I don't think there's enough common ground in this thread, ie on who is subnormal, to move on to look at the implications of being subnormal. But that's ok. Thanks boom and others for your patience with each other - having different positions represented makes it easier for spe...

Hi truthunter, Your post really struck a chord with me. I don't have any advice, but I can relate to the challenge of being married to someone with different views. And I can relate to the feeling of having no support. Hang in there! The cool thing about this forum (from what I've seen) is t...
