Nice poem. It made it to the side of my refrigerator so that my whole family may read it. Of course my oldest (7 yrs old.) said it did'nt make any sense when I gave it to him to read in the naughty chair, but he'll have another 11 or so years to read it on the side of the fridge for it to sink in.

I have met with some Mormons over the past month. They certainly do have some beliefs that are out there, but every time I would espouse a truth from TUB, they were in absolute agreement. Also many of their doctrinal beliefs about the afterlife parallel TUB in many ways. They are certainly nice peop...

It also doesn't make sense. If Jesus knew where the fishes were, he surely knew when figs were in season. I agree, I was referencing the bible in Mark 11. There is this issue on another forum, and I thought I had seen an explanation for this action from Mark 11 in TUB, but I cannot locate it. Thank...

Is there an explanation for why Jesus cursed the fig tree in TUB? I have used my topic search, but cannot locate a passage, and I'm almost certain there was an explanation in TUB. Any help would be appreciated.

Peace,

I often used to wonder why people behave irrationally and without any logical explanation to their behaviours and attitudes. I have found people opposing good and positive proposals and opinions. I have also found people keeping an indifferent silence when some atrocities take place in front of the...

Greetings to all, As the world is all abuzz about this exciting new discovery of a 47 million year-old mammal, it gave me great pleasure to find in the Urantia Book specific reference to the fact that the early mammals began to appear around 50-Million years ago. There it is, in black and white on ...

"The important thing to keep in mind is that when God wants you to know something, He will tell you." Yes, and He may very well tell you (or me) in code!!! The only reasons I raised this possibility is what I mentioned in Russ McClay's scientific discrepancies OP. The revelators say that ...

I think this paragraph answers the science discrepancies better than I can. P1139:7, 103:7.15 Science discovers the material world, religion evaluates it, and philosophy endeavors to interpret its meanings while co-ordinating the scientific material viewpoint with the religious spiritual concept. Bu...

p658:4 57:6.7 3,500,000,000 years ago the condensation nucleuses of the other ten planets were well formed, and the cores of most of the moons were intact, though some of the smaller satellites later united to make the present-day larger moons. This age may be regarded as the era of planetary assem...

Hey Rainbow Ben! The moon is tidally locked with the earth and we only see one side of the moon at all times. I don't have the TUB quote to see what it exactly says, so I cannot comment. Here's the reference: p657:5 57:6.2 The planets nearest the sun were the first to have their revolutions slowed ...

Hey J. Barry -- If people come here to see, learn and understand what is different about the U.B. ad the Bible. why not just talk about all of it so we no longer have miss understandings. Here is some of the things i see are different in understanding between the two books. Well another way to appr...

Has anyone ever seen the History Channel about "The Bible Code". They have people on there who have used mathematics to come up with a matrix that supposedly answers questions about the future. I think it's BS, but it got me thinking. and it made me wonder if possibly the revelators possib...
