One of the best parts of this book is what they do not tell us about ourselves. I have long felt that one of the intentions of the Authors was to allow the human race to discover the hidden mysteries of our physical world. List like the passage about if the Master was to walk the earth again in his ...

Its fairly common knowledge that the dinos were in decline prior to the Chicxulub asteroid impact 65 million years ago. However, I have not seen much in the way of published evidence of their survival for hundreds of thousands of years after. Most of what I have read has been saying that the K/T bou...

Exactly my point, thank you. The Authors recognized their limitations on matters of physical science and clearly pointed this out as noted in the above post. The Chicxulub crater was discovered by Antonio Camargo and Glen Penfield, geophysicists who had been looking for petroleum in the Yucatán duri...

I suspect that the Authors simply wanted mortals to make their own scientific discoveries rather than give freebees to folks on matters other than spiritual. People here sometimes bend over backwards defending the UB on matters like this when the Authors were very clear that the material info they w...

Having read the text multiple times, I "use" the UB as a bu11$hit barometer for everyday life. I listen (sequentially) to the text in my car as I drive to work and whatever I have heard that morning often colors my thoughts throughout the day. I never read anymore, and living in the Deep S...

Good Morning: One of the main reasons I believe (mostly) in this book is that the Authors are so honest in admitting that there are many, many things which they do not know. I have always rejected flatly ANYONE who says that ANY DOCUMENT is the inerrant word of Deity. This includes the UB. Was the b...

Fisherman... What up Dude! Welcome to the sandbox. My preferred way of reading is not reading at all... I have the UB on flash drive and listen to it on the way to work. Admittedly one can not fully concentrate but it seeps in, little by little.
Have a great day!

I find humor in myself when I contemplate the teachings. My animal fears, my spiritual arrogance, my petty resentments: all in the face of a limitless future of perfection attainment. How little these things are, these things which take up so much of my precious time here on this amazing yet so mess...

Hi Van: GREAT TOPIC!!!!!!! OK, I am really concerned with spiritual pride... mine, that is. It is one of the things about myself which scares me the most. I cannot speak for anyone else here, but I KNOW I catch myself all the time thinking how "enlightened" I am compared with the (fill in ...

Squabbling Squabble: verb squabbled; squabbling\ ˈskwä-b(ə-)liŋ \ Definition of squabble: to quarrel noisily and usually over petty matters Apparently in the matters of the FER, squabbling is currently the norm, at least in this forum, to engage in much squabbling, much to the dismay of those who ar...
