Courtesy The trait of courtesy is a vital part of life, incl this little corner of the world. Larry, you need to work on courtesy Back off the curtness and bad manners. Your "authority" does not allow for pitiful manners.......... p.s. feel free to suspend your own postings for 30 days

Tramp Swan, I would like to thank you for your service, but I do believe such an expression is not in keeping with the guidelines. I would like to welcome RayOK - but I do believe that would be outside the bounds of the letter of the guidelines. I hope you can accept my sadness - but ....WHOOPS ! th...

Dave, The UB has taught me a new appreciation of "government." Government is there for many occasions. Government can step in when family authorities fail in carrying out their parental responsibilities. Kids of 3 and 5 are absolutely helpless. An adult of 22 is not absolutely helpless. A ...

......Hurray for you, Chriss. Lots of Wisdom!
Lots of Courage.

A terrible challenge, Dave.

Your sister is equally responsible for child abuse. The state will probably
take the 2 kids.

Well, last year I started going to a local Catholic church.

My mission was to meet some intelligent women. Finally
the priest figured it out.

"Sorry, Fatboy. The brainy ones have all become UB'ers."

Here is my simple way of getting the Christ Michael/Eternal Son thing somewhat clarified: In the Army, PFC Dimswitch looks upon his captain as a kind of god. After all, Capt Upthere is OVER rough-tough Sgt Sweat as well as 3 other battle-hardened sergeants. One day PFC Dimswitch was shocked at seein...

GrayGhost, a fascinating thing is that Christ Michael is one of 700,000 !! Michaels. He is One of Many. And Christ Michael is not 'perfectly' Perfect. He is kind of perfect. According to the UB, Christ Michael is STILL evolving. Thus, He is not Perfect in a strict sense. HOWEVER, in my everyday livi...

For the past 3 years, I have been studying the UB, and it has given me some terrific insights into cosmology, theology, and psychology. The UB has certainly made a signifcant good change in my life. Regarding reading the various posts here, what has impressed me the most is how different we personal...

Re heroes, I have had heroes in the past, and I still have a few. ALL of my heroes have "clay feet." None of them are without sin - disregarding the Major Figures of Religious History. A hero can inspire me without having the station of perfect virtue. By the way, I have always considered ...

Movies and books do a good job in bringing to our attention many great stories about individuals who have distinguished themselves in some significant way. Over time, we media-consumers categorize individuals in a fantasy-driven manner. We may see some historic figures as totally good, maybe heroic....

All we know of Mother Teresa is from the media. Media stories have built up this great lady to be perfect in every way. We have a tendency to hold people up as heroic for some peculiar reason. I suppose we need heroes - but who can be a hero other than Christ Michael? Others? will let us down. What ...

Excellent points, Iris. "Who are the prophets...poets...moral leaders?" I believe we have some. The prophet Baha'u'llah founded a religion in 1863 that proclaimed: (1) the brotherhood of all mankind (2) the equality of man and woman (3) the need for a world government (4) the need for a wo...
