A URANTIA BOOK STUDY
World Peace—A Study of Concepts from The Urantia Book

11. The Dangers of Wishful Thinking

We know that life on Urantia is not typical nor proceeding according to original plan. We understand the world is destined to attain peace, light and life, but the road to that achievement has taken and continues to take many detours with the final destination still in the distant future. We're living under a handicap that requires difficult decisions to rectify. Clamoring for peace does not produce peace(1),    (2).

Diplomacy will not produce lasting peace. War will not produce lasting peace. If it's true peace we yearn for then meaningful work must be devoted to strengthen the foundation for lasting peace which is, as The Urantia Book makes so clear, the true message of Jesus' life and teachings.
