Was Jesus Just Some Good Dude Who Used to Live?
By
Kathryn Jean Lopez
I found myself thinking of a Sunday homily this morning. Because it
is still Easter. And we can still meet the Risen Lord in our daily
lives. There is no time like today. Do
our hearts burn with zeal for Christ? Did what happened Friday really

Urantia Book readers know that Jesus is very present today, even though his death is such an important part of his history. At the Resurrection, Jesus took his life up again, and showed us how we will go and do likewise. And then he sent his Spirit of Truth to be his actual representative, living in all of humanity - at the same time - helping us to re-interpret and and translate his life and teachings in every generation.

Jesus' resurrection appearance to women has meaning to all marginalized
By
Lu-Ann Farrar
In all four of the New Testament gospels, women are the
first to experience the resurrected Jesus. Mary, mother of Jesus, knew
at his birth that generations would call her blessed. She was present
throughout his crucifixion. Mary Magdalene's story from the Gospel of
John is especially powerful: She talked with the risen Jesus as the
rabbi who knew her personally. Is the message of Easter
different for women? The Herald-Leader asked faith bloggers and other
female clergy for their response. Here are their edited remarks. See "Link to External Source Article" below to read further.
